Register of Current Policies
The Register of Current Policies lists all policies formally adopted by the Shire of Chittering Council. This register is kept up to date and is updated as policies are adopted, amended, or reviewed by Council.

Policy Review Status
The Shire is currently undertaking a comprehensive review of all policies to ensure they remain relevant, comply with new legislation, and reflect best practice.
To date, a number of policies have already been reviewed, with some repealed where they are no longer required. 48 policies remain under review, with updates presented to Council progressively for adoption throughout the year.
Archived / Repealed Policies
Policies that are no longer required or have been replaced are formally repealed by Council. A register is maintained for transparency, showing the policy name, when it was adopted, and the date it was repealed.
