Beck Foulkes‑Taylor is a second‑generation mixed‑scale farmer whose family has been an active part of the district for more than 60 years. Together with her partner, Jason, she continues the Foulkes‑Taylor tradition of community involvement while raising their two daughters, who both attended the local primary school before moving on to high school.
Jason is well known throughout the region for his agronomy work and his hands‑on role in the family farming operation, working closely alongside Beck and her parents. Their shared commitment to the land and the community reflects the values that have shaped the family for decades.
Beck is passionate about ensuring the Shire remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family. She believes strongly in the role that clubs and sporting groups play in building a connected, resilient community. For more than 10 years she has been a dedicated Senior Coach with the Super Seals Swim Club, supporting young athletes and strengthening local sporting pathways.
Before returning home to the farm, Beck completed a Bachelor of Business (majoring in Marketing and International Business) and worked in management roles across Western Australia. Her professional background, combined with her deep local knowledge and long-standing community involvement, underpins her commitment to supporting sustainable growth, strong community networks, and a vibrant future for the Shire.
