OPPORTUNITY TO COMMENT - The Shire of Chittering Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2026

The Local Government Act 1995 s3.12, requires the Shire of Chittering to give public notice of the intent to enact the Bush Fire Brigade Local Law 2026.

The purpose of the proposed Bush Fire Brigade Local Law 2026 is to provide for the organisation, establishment, maintenance and equipment of bush fire brigades within the district.

The effect of the proposed Bush Fire Brigade Local Law 2026 is to repeal and replace the Shire of Chittering Bush Fire Brigade Local Law 2012 and provide an updated local law framework for the establishment, operation, membership, management and administration of bush fire brigades.

A copy of the proposed local law may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire's offices at 6177 Great Northern Hwy, Bindoon, between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, or can be viewed online:-
