Community Assistance Grants and Sponsorship (CAGS)
In recognition of the pivotal role that individuals, community groups and sporting organisations play in developing vibrant and diverse communities, the Shire is committed to the provision of support and assistance to build healthy, safe and connected communities through a range of funding programs.
The program delivers funding across three categories:
- Community Events and Programs: local festivals, workshops, and programs
- Capacity Building and Volunteer Support Initiatives: Volunteer training and skill development, equipment which reduces the administrative burden on volunteers
- Capital Infrastructure, Signage and Equipment: equipment, infrastructure enhancements, and signage
