Chalice has advised the Shire that the Section156a variation submitted to the Commonwealth has been accepted, with the decision to be published on the EPBC Act Public Portal (EPBC Number 2024/09839).
Chalice has also advised that the State Section 43a amendment is under assessment and will be published on the EPA's website, with a two-week public comment period commencing tomorrow, Friday 23 October – until Thursday 5th November 2026.
Chalice has also launched a new interactive project map is also available on the Gonneville Project website, allowing community members to view the proposed mine site, infrastructure, local roads and surrounding towns.
