RAP Working Group Expression of Interest now open (Closed)

The Shire of Chittering is excited to start our journey towards increased inclusion and recognition of First Nations in our organisation.  The first stage was to develop a Roadmap to a REFLECT Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), which was approved at the Ordinary Meeting of Council in August 2024.

We are now seeking Expressions Of Interest to participate in a RAP Working Group, and help us with the project.  If you have an interest and/or involvement in local and/or broader Aboriginal community, and an ability and willingness to contribute to the strategic development of policy impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples at a local government level, then we encourage you to submit your expression!

The Terms of Reference for the Working Group, and Expression of Interest form are attached –

Further information about the project, or assistance with submitting the form can be attained by contacting Alison Reliti, Community Development and Grants Coordinator at chatter@chittering.wa.gov.au or 9576 4600.
