The Shire of Chittering’s Technical Services Department have been extremely busy recently, completing a range of projects across the Construction Program.
Completed Works
1) Road maintenance has been completed on Maddern Road.
2) The Shire has cleaned and graded a drain on Morley Road, Lower Chittering, so stormwater can flow more easily.
3) Drainage work has been completed on Carl Street,
4) Drainage work has been completed on Chardonnay Drive.
5) The Technical Services Department have also completed a host of roadworks including:
- Chittering Road
- Hibbertia Road
- Julimar Road
- Maddern Road
- Muchea East Road
- Nolan Road
- Perry Road
- Timaru Road
Projects Underway
1) Work on grading Romany Close will be commencing in December, with the works programmed to be completed in January 2023.
2) Road maintenance on Ghost Gum Ridge has been programmed to be completed in February 2023.
3) Works on Kelly Street in Wannamal have been programmed to be completed in January 2023.
4) Drainage on the culvert in Moss Road, is programmed to be completed in March 2023.
5) Drainage on Wells Glover Road is programmed to be completed in March 2023.
6) The installation of four 80 kilometre signs along Blue Plains Road, is programmed to be completed in January 2023.
7) Work at Bridge 4026 on Chittering Road is programmed to commence on January 15, 2023, and is programmed to be completed in April 2023. The start date and completion date of this project depends on the weather during this time period.
8) The Technical Services Department are currently working on a host of roadworks, including:
- Bottlebrush Place
- Chittering Valley Road
- Forest Hills Parade
- Hidaway Drive
- Mooliabeenee Road
- Teatree Road
- Wandena Road
