Proposed Amendment to Local Structure Plan - Muchea Industrial Park Precinct 1 (Closed)

The Shire is in receipt of a request to amend the Muchea Industrial Park (MIP) Precinct 1 Local Structure Plan.
The current approved Local Structure Plan currently identifies the land to be used for ‘General Industry’ purposes. The proposed amendment seeks to identify a 2.1 hectare parcel of land as a ‘Special Use’ zone.
The ‘Special Use’ zone will permit non-industrial uses to be permitted in this zone including, but not limited to retail, service commercial and food outlets. A full list of permitted uses is included in the application details (link above).
