Dog & Cat Registration Fee Amnesty 2020

At the Ordinary Council Meeting on 15 April 2020, Council agreed to waive all dog and cat registration fees until 31 October 2020 as part of our COVID-19 relief measures.

All lengths of registration for both cats and dogs are now free, including lifetime registrations.

What do I need to provide?

If you are transferring or registering a new dog or cat, you will still need to fill out a Registration Form and provide proof of sterilisation if your fluffy friend is sterilised.

Please make sure that all fields are complete. Those fields that are purple on the form are mandatory fields and without this information, we cannot process your application.

If you are renewing an overdue registration, you can provide the renewal form that was sent to you in 2019, but if you don't have it, we can process your renewal without it.

Please be aware that if you have not renewed an animal for quite some time, we may ask you to fill out a new registration form.

How long will it take?

We have recently had a big influx of applications sent into the Shire and we are working through them as fast as we can.
