The Shire of Chittering has resolved to adopt the abovementioned local law at is Ordinary Meeting on 19 December 2012.
The purpose of the proposed Shire of Chittering Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2012 is to make provisions about the organisation, establishment, maintenance and equipment of bush fire brigades.
The effect of the local law is to align existing local laws with changes in the law and operational practice.
A copy of the law may be inspected or obtained from the Administration office, Great Northern Highway, Bindoon between 8.30am and 4pm Monday – Friday or by visiting the local laws page.
This local law was published in the Government Gazette on 21 January 2013 and came into operation on 4 February 2013.
