Chittering’s annual A TASTE OF CHITTERING festival returns to the picturesque Nesci Estate Wine Farm on October 17 and 18, just an easy 45-minute drive north-east of the Perth CBD.
An eclectic and diverse program will showcase the local food, wine, beer, produce, and art of the Chittering region with market stalls, pop-up dining, cooking demonstrations, live music and family entertainment.
This year, exciting new additions to the program include guided electric bike tours where guests can soak up Chittering’s green rolling hills and valleys, fragrant citrus orchards and stunning Spring wildflowers.
A beer brewing competition - A SIP OF CHITTERING – is a new initiative open to all amateur brewers, with the winning beer made in a batch for release by Outback Brewing Co. Thousands of food lovers, families, locals and day-trippers are expected to visit Nesci Estate across the weekend, with gates opening at 10.00 am each day (to 5.00 pm on Saturday and 3.00 pm on Sunday). The event program is now online at www.atasteofchittering.com.au, with additional epicurean ticketed events announced soon.
Highlights of the main program include:
