Western Australians who are eligible to vote in the forthcoming October local government ordinary elections are reminded that to be able to vote you must be on either:
- the State electoral roll for a residence within your local government district; or
- on the owners and occupiers roll for the district which is maintained by each local government.
Rolls will close at 5.00pm, Friday, 27 August 2021.
An owner or occupier might be someone who operates a business within a local government district or owns a residential or commercial property that they rent out to someone else. You can check whether you are eligible to enrol and vote as an owner or occupier at your local government office.
