The 2019 Shire of Chittering Local Government Elections will be held on Saturday 19 October.
If you want to make a difference in your community and have a say in local decision making, stand for election as a Local Government Councillor.
An information session will be held for prospective candidates on:
Tuesday 20 August // 6pm
Council Chambers, 6177 Great Northern Highway, Bindoon
Sessions will be attended by the WA Electoral Commission appointed Returning Officer and the Shire’s CEO, as well as a current Councillor. You will get advice on the electoral process and information on some of the issues currently being dealt with by Council, as well as a practical insight into what to expect from a Councillor’s point of view if you are elected.
