The combined Trail is a result of linking the recently launched Chittering Wine Trail and the efforts of the Chittering Tourist Association in partnership with Central TAFE Art School, local wineries and other sponsors, including Chittering Shire. The trail covers 76 km from Chittering Road, Chittering to Ashby Road, Gingin and incorporates seven wineries.

The five major sculptures completed include "The Bull", "Willy Wagtails", "The Nest" and "The Travelling Monk" which each tell a story relating to the area.

The sculptures were completed by 20 sculpture major students and 4 lecturers including practicing artists Tony Jones and Stewart Elliot. There were 5 very intense hard working days spent installing the sculptures.

Congratulations to Chittering Tourist Association, particularly Caroline Coleman, for their imagination and creative approach to enhance tourism as an industry in Chittering.
