Teamwork Between Council Staff, Residents and Ratepayers

Medical Centre

Council staff are employed to assist residents and ratepayers with their problems and to administer the various Statutes and Regulations, which they are trained and qualified to handle. It is generally accepted that we live in a world in which there is an ever-increasing number of regulations that restrict us for the general welfare of the community. It is obvious then, that particularly the inspectorial members of the staff will, at times, have to find themselves in conflict with the two parts of their occupation, that is the need to enforce regulations will come into conflict with their desire to assist and educate. Understanding of this position by ratepayers and residents will be of general assistance to all.

If you have a particular problem do not hesitate to contact the Council Office stating your name, address and details of the matter concerned. Council staff are committed to provide the best possible customer service.
