DAFWA Industry update 10: Quarantine Area Notice update - tomato potato psyllid (TPP)

Major changes to the Quarantine Area Notice (QAN) came into effect on Monday 27 March 2017. Three zones have been established to direct the movement and treatment of Solanaceous and Convolvulaceae plants and produce (i.e. tomato, potato, chilli, capsicum, eggplant, tamarillo, sweet potato) to contain and control the pest.

The Control (red) Zone now applies to the Perth metropolitan area and the City of Mandurah, and the Shires of Gingin, Murray and Chittering.
