Free Shower Head Swap

Media Releases

Residents in Chittering now have the opportunity to save water this spring and summer, with the Water Corporation launching a new waterwise program.

Water Corporation have begun touching base with households in Chittering, asking them to get involved in the new water saving program.  Residents in Chittering are being offered a number of activities such as free waterwise products and tailored water saving advice through a series of letters.

The Chittering Shire is encouraging residents to take part in this great new program and save water to help the environment – while also seeing a reduction on their next water bill.

The free showerhead swap program is now offered to residential households in Chittering this year.

Chittering residents are now able to bring in their old showerhead (up to two per household) to swap for new ones.  New shower heads are only available from the Shire’s Administration Centre (6177 Great Northern Highway, Bindoon).

The old showerheads will then be sent to a scrap metal process outlet.  The program will run until May 2018.
