Slow Down Enjoy the Ride in (& to!) Chittering

The “Slow Down Enjoy the Ride in Chittering” project raised community awareness on the shared responsibility for road safety, utilising the familiar Road Safety Council campaign which epitomises what we would like people to do in (or on their way to) Chittering.

The funding for the project was provided by the Community Road Safety Grants Program which is funded through speed and red light cameras.  This 11-month expanded awareness campaign (August 2013 to June 2014) focussed on the Safe System: Safe Road Use, Safe Roads and Roadsides, Safe Speeds and Safe Vehicles.
