Discover Chittering

Just one hour from Perth, the rural Chittering Valley forms a picturesque gateway into the countryside with rolling hills, spectacular wildflowers, walking trails, farm gate produce and picnic spots. To enjoy a virtual drive through the Chittering Valley simply click HERE.

The location means that it is the perfect day-trip or short-break destination - stay overnight at a farmstay, bed & breakfast or chalet.

Great food is available at the Bindoon Bakehaus, Stringybark Winery, Bindoon Roadhouse, the Bindoon Cafe Restaurant and Scottalian Hotel; or pick up some local produce and picnic in Clune Park or at one of the many picnic sites.

There are many drive and walk trails that meander through the hills of the beautiful Chittering Valley... there are wineries, orchards, markets, fresh produce, sculptures, and locally made arts and crafts to be discovered. At the Brockman Centre you will find both the Heritage Museum along with Arts and Crafts, and if you visit during spring you will witness an abundance of wildflowers.

Call in to the Chittering Visitor Centre, which is located on Great Northern Highway in Bindoon. They have information on local wineries, farms, trails, accommodation, attractions, gifts, local produce and souvenirs. There is a huge variety of wildflowers to be viewed in this area, including many areas of wildflowers and some of these can be visited by arrangement .
