Northern Valleys Early Years Network

(the first 5 years matter and last a lifetime)

The Shire of Chittering is currently working with the Shire of Gingin, Bindoon Primary School, Immaculate Heart College and a number of other local early years service providers to create an Early Years Network(EYN).  An EYN typically includes parents and those who work with children from childcare, child health, libraries, schools, local government and local community agencies.  The Northern Valleys Early Years Network (NVEYN) will help to promote, develop and create programs and services for parents and caregivers of children under 5.

We are currently seeking parents and other community members to be involved in this network.

Meetings of the NVEYN are held the first Monday of every month and anyone interested in the network is encouraged to attend.  At this meeting we will be discussing areas of concern in regard to child development and creating further plans for 2015.

Date:   First Monday of the month.
Time:   10am
Place:  Chiitering Council Chambers

If you would like more information about this network or if you have contacts/services that you believe the EYN would benefit from, please contact the Shire's Economic & Community Development Support Officer on 9576 4600 or chatter@chittering.wa.gov.au.
